Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher RPL5 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, THCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where RPL5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
