Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 29 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL5-associated genes across cancer lineages are Di-Ras3, eEF2, and MEK1. Each is linked with RPL5 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL5-to-partner and partner-to-RPL5 results are reported.
