Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL4P2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL4P2 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RPL4P2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL4P2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and LUAD show a favorable association.
SKCM, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RPL4P2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
