Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL4 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,557 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL4-associated genes across cancer lineages are KLF2, N4BP2L1, and DIXDC1. Each is linked with RPL4 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL4-to-partner and partner-to-RPL4 results are reported.
