Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL39P16 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL39P16 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher RPL39P16 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL39P16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.

KIRC, READ, and LIHC are the cancer types where RPL39P16 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
