Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL39 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL39 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RPL39 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL39 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SKCM are the cancer types where RPL39 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
