Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL36A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 167 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL36A-associated genes across cancer lineages are HNRNPH3P1, RNA5SP213, and RNA5SP36. Each is linked with RPL36A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL36A-to-partner and partner-to-RPL36A results are reported.
