Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL35AP17 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL35AP17 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher RPL35AP17 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL35AP17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and SKCM show a favorable association.

KICH, KIRC, and COAD are the cancer types where RPL35AP17 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
