Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL35A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL35A data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher RPL35A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL35A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

LUAD, UCEC, and PDAC are the cancer types where RPL35A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
