Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL32P8 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL32P8’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPL32P8 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL32P8 is over-expressed in tumor.
COAD are the cancer types where RPL32P8 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
