Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL32P26 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL32P26’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPL32P26 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL32P26 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, LUAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where RPL32P26 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
