Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL31 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,323 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL31-associated genes across cancer lineages are FCGR3B, CXCR2, and CMTM2. Each is linked with RPL31 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL31-to-partner and partner-to-RPL31 results are reported.
