Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL29 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL29 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher RPL29 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL29 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

COAD, GBM, and HNSC are the cancer types where RPL29 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
