Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL26 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,398 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL26-associated genes across cancer lineages are TUB, FTX, and ZNF280C. Each is linked with RPL26 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL26-to-partner and partner-to-RPL26 results are reported.
