Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL22P21 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL22P21 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher RPL22P21 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL22P21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and BRCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, SKCM, and BRCA are the cancer types where RPL22P21 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
