Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL22L1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL22L1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher RPL22L1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL22L1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.

PDAC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where RPL22L1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
