RPL21P127

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL21P127 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL21P127’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPL21P127 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL21P127 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, KIRP, and LIHC are the cancer types where RPL21P127 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
