RPL18P13

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL18P13 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL18P13’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPL18P13 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL18P13 is over-expressed in tumor.

COAD, LIHC, and STAD are the cancer types where RPL18P13 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
