Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL18 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL18 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher RPL18 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where RPL18 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
