Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL18 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,014 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL18-associated genes across cancer lineages are HNMT, N4BP2L1, and SAP30L. Each is linked with RPL18 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL18-to-partner and partner-to-RPL18 results are reported.
