Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL17P49 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL17P49 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher RPL17P49 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL17P49 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC show a favorable association.

KIRC, COAD, and CESC are the cancer types where RPL17P49 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
