Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL17P43 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL17P43 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher RPL17P43 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL17P43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and CESC show a favorable association.

BRCA, CESC, and ACC are the cancer types where RPL17P43 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
