Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL14P6 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL14P6’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where RPL14P6 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL14P6 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
UCEC, HNSC, and KIRP are the cancer types where RPL14P6 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
