Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL14 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL14 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher RPL14 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.

LUAD, GBM, and CCRCC are the cancer types where RPL14 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
