Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL12P34 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL12P34’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where RPL12P34 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL12P34 is over-expressed in tumor.
PRAD are the cancer types where RPL12P34 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
