Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPEL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPEL1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher RPEL1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPEL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where RPEL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
