Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPE mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 16 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPE-associated genes across cancer lineages are EGFR_pY1068, EGFR, and Ku80. Each is linked with RPE in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPE-to-partner and partner-to-RPE results are reported.
