Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU7-90P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU7-90P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where RNU7-90P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU7-90P is over-expressed in tumor.
ESCA are the cancer types where RNU7-90P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
