RNU7-13P

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU7-13P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU7-13P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RNU7-13P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU7-13P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

STAD, PRAD, and COAD are the cancer types where RNU7-13P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
