Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6ATAC42P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU6ATAC42P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where RNU6ATAC42P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU6ATAC42P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as ESCA and LUAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BRCA, ESCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where RNU6ATAC42P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
