Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6ATAC27P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU6ATAC27P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where RNU6ATAC27P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU6ATAC27P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
UCEC, LUSC, and KICH are the cancer types where RNU6ATAC27P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
