RNU6-944P

associated omics data
RNA, U6 small nuclear 944, pseudogeneGenealiases: []

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored RNU6-944P profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. RNU6-944P expression is associated with patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in OV. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, RNU6-944P is differentially expressed in 6, with the highest sampling consensus in BRCA. Additionally, RNU6-944P RNA expression shows 13,018 significant gene co-expression associations, with the highest sampling consensus in THYM. Together, these results highlight OV, BRCA, and THYM as cancer lineages where RNU6-944P shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes RNU6-944P survival associations across molecular data types. RNU6-944P RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (20). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible RNU6-944P RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High RNU6-944P expression shows unfavorable associations in COAD, THCA, PRAD, LIHC and DLBC, but favorable associations in OV. The OV Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the low-expression group declining faster, consistent with the favorable association (log-rank p = .002). Together, the overview and detailed table identify OV as the clearest survival context for RNU6-944P RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for RNU6-944P. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. RNU6-944P shows lower tumor expression in BRCA, PAAD, KICH and THCA and higher tumor expression in PRAD and LUAD. The BRCA box plot shows higher RNU6-944P RNA expression in normal versus tumor tissue (log2 FC = −0.248, t-test p = .003).
