Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-917P RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-917P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RNU6-917P RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-917P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and BRCA show a favorable association.

SKCM, BRCA, and ACC are the cancer types where RNU6-917P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
