Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-862P RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-862P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher RNU6-862P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-862P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

ESCA, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where RNU6-862P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
