Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-85P RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-85P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher RNU6-85P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-85P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and STAD show a favorable association.

MESO, KIRC, and PCPG are the cancer types where RNU6-85P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
