Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-770P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU6-770P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where RNU6-770P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU6-770P is over-expressed in tumor.
BLCA, STAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where RNU6-770P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
