RNU6-689P

associated omics data
RNA, U6 small nuclear 689, pseudogeneGenealiases: []

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored RNU6-689P profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. RNU6-689P expression is associated with patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in BRCA. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, RNU6-689P is differentially expressed in 7, with the highest sampling consensus in BLCA. Additionally, RNU6-689P RNA expression shows 16,475 significant gene co-expression associations, with the highest sampling consensus in UVM. Together, these results highlight BRCA, BLCA, and UVM as cancer lineages where RNU6-689P shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes RNU6-689P survival associations across molecular data types. RNU6-689P RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (18). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible RNU6-689P RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High RNU6-689P expression shows unfavorable associations in LGG, LIHC, UVM and LUAD, but favorable associations in BRCA and SKCM. The BRCA Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the low-expression group declining faster, consistent with the favorable association (log-rank p = .006). Together, the overview and detailed table identify BRCA as the clearest survival context for RNU6-689P RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for RNU6-689P. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. RNU6-689P shows lower tumor expression in KICH, THCA and BRCA and higher tumor expression in BLCA, HNSC and CHOL. The BLCA box plot shows higher RNU6-689P RNA expression in tumor versus normal tissue (log2 FC = +1.246, t-test p < 0.001).
