Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-556P RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-556P data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher RNU6-556P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-556P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.
KIRC, SKCM, and BLCA are the cancer types where RNU6-556P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
