Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-553P RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-553P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RNU6-553P RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-553P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LAML show a favorable association.

HNSC, THCA, and LAML are the cancer types where RNU6-553P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
