Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-550P RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-550P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RNU6-550P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-550P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and OV show a favorable association.

SKCM, THCA, and CHOL are the cancer types where RNU6-550P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
