Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-298P RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-298P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher RNU6-298P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-298P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and KIRP show a favorable association.

KICH, COAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where RNU6-298P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
