Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-1336P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU6-1336P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where RNU6-1336P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU6-1336P is over-expressed in tumor.
UCEC are the cancer types where RNU6-1336P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
