Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-1172P RNA is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-1172P data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher RNU6-1172P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-1172P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.
OV, KIRC, and ESCA are the cancer types where RNU6-1172P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
