Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-1019P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU6-1019P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where RNU6-1019P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU6-1019P is over-expressed in tumor.
LUSC, HNSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where RNU6-1019P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
