Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-1001P RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-1001P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RNU6-1001P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-1001P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD show a favorable association.

SKCM, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where RNU6-1001P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
