Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU4-85P RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU4-85P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher RNU4-85P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU4-85P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD show a favorable association.

KICH, THCA, and LGG are the cancer types where RNU4-85P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
