Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU4-56P RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU4-56P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher RNU4-56P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU4-56P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC show a favorable association.

BLCA, ESCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where RNU4-56P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
