Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU2-61P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU2-61P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where RNU2-61P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU2-61P is over-expressed in tumor.
LUAD are the cancer types where RNU2-61P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
