Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU1-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU1-2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), where higher RNU1-2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU1-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and KIRC show a favorable association.

TGCT, KICH, and ACC are the cancer types where RNU1-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
