Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU1-148P RNA is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU1-148P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher RNU1-148P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU1-148P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.

MESO, KIRC, and READ are the cancer types where RNU1-148P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
